The SCA has a little something for most people interested in the middle ages, from dressing up and attending court, to learning how to fight in combat, to learning how to do various medieval arts and crafts.
One wonderful source is the Newcomer’s Portal which can help guide you from getting started to learning about many of the aspects that make the SCA what it is such as Heraldry, Armored Combat and Performing Arts (just to name a few).
